Who is this seminar for?

This professional development seminar is open only to individuals who have completed TBRI® Practitioner Training through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU. Practitioner status will be verified for all registrants.

Is this seminar the same as TBRI® Caregiver Training?

No. This seminar is designed specifically for TBRI® Practitioners and builds upon the foundational content covered in Practitioner Training. It is not a caregiver or introductory training.

When and where is the seminar?

Transforming Cultures of Care will take place on October 28, 2026, as a virtual, one-day professional development seminar.

What is the cost to attend? 

We are committed to making TBRI® Practitioner professional development opportunities accessible globally. Registration uses a tiered pricing model — please select the one tier that best reflects your financial context and capacity:

Is group registration available? 

Group registration is not available for this seminar. Each participant must register individually.

Who are the featured speakers? 

Sessions will be led by KPICD’s in-house team of training specialists and staff, including institute leadership, faculty, researchers, and outreach professionals. The full agenda with speakers will be released closer to the event. 

What is the seminar agenda? 

All live sessions will run approximately 9:00 AM–3:45 PM Central Time. A full agenda will be distributed to registered participants ahead of the event. At a high level, the seminar equips TBRI® Practitioners to transform cultures of care through the principles and practices of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®). Through keynotes, practical sessions, and interactive breakouts, attendees will explore applying TBRI® with adults, in workplaces and higher education, and through data-informed, upstream implementation. Participants will leave with a clearer sense of their personal TBRI® journey, concrete next steps, and resources to sustain mission-aligned, trust-based cultures of care.


Will continuing education credits (CEUs) be available? 

Yes, continuing education credits will be available. As is our practice for TBRI® Practitioner Training, we will provide non-accredited CEUs for each session. Participants who attend will receive a certificate of completion, the conference agenda, session descriptions and speaker bios which may be submitted at their own discretion toward continuing education requirements depending on their licensing board or employer policies.

What time zone will sessions be held in?

All live sessions will take place in Central Time (CT). On-demand access will be available following the event for those unable to attend all sessions live.

Will the event be live or recorded?

The seminar will be offered live online, and on-demand access will be available to registered participants following the event.

What languages will the seminar be offered in? 

Transforming Cultures of Care will be available in English and Spanish and other requested languages. Participants can request their preferred language on their registration form. If you prefer a language other than English or Spanish, please register by June 30, 2026.

Will accessibility accommodations be available?

Yes. KPICD is committed to creating an accessible experience. During registration, participants will be invited to share preferred language and any visual or auditory accommodation needs so preparations can be made in advance.

Will my TBRI® Practitioner status be verified?

Yes. All registrations will be verified through KPICD records. If Practitioner status cannot be confirmed, the registration fee will be refunded and the participant will not be placed in the seminar.

How will I access the seminar after I register? 

You will receive a link to access Transforming Cultures of Care the week of the event.
